The Vec-Shea
The Vec-Shea are a species native to the Jungles of Shea. A typical Vec-Shae stands about 4’-9” (1.45m) and is fairly lean, weighing in at about 130lbs (59kg), is covered in short blue-black, black, or indigo blue fur. Vec-Shea have tails, much like those of a panther, that average about 3’ (90cm) in length. They have small pointed ears and a mouth full of sharp teeth, these traits combined with eyes of the color red, violet or gray (it is worth noting that the Vec-Shea with gray eyes are solely male and are exceptionally strong Sorcerers) most likely attributes to the misconceived notion that they are Demons or even the Scions of Demons, while there may indeed be some sort of Extraplanar Being in the Vec-Shea bloodline, they are natives of Shea, and in fact are not the savage, tribal beings that most humans believed them to be.
As recently as a hundred years past, the notion of Vec-Shea Savagery has been proven a falsehood. The ancient Vec-Shea cities in the Deep Jungles rival human cites in construction and architecture. Their culture is a deeply rooted Matriarchal society lead by a conclave of three women in each city. In addition to the conclaves the Vec-Shea have what equates to a college of Magic. These “colleges” are headed by a “master of the arts” typically the most powerful and learned of the Vec-Shea’s Sorcerers.
